For this site, CalWalls built perimeter sound and security walls abutting occupied homes and property lines, and even underneath in-use carports. Working around residents, their living spaces, and their property—including pools, parked cars, and yards with pets—required advance planning and experienced solutions. Because homeowners needed to continue with their daily lives during construction, we had to find ways to ensure that was not only possible, but seamless.

Our team faced a number of challenges, including: 

• keeping our work cost-effective while dealing with numerous and varied constraints

• limiting resident disturbances and inconveniences

• on-site problem-solving for unexpected obstructions/issues
